Engineering Technician
Responsible for developing and testing solutions to solve technical problems in research and development of automated bending machines and robotic assembly systems. Assists engineers, inspects products, conducts tests, and verifies equipment meets specifications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create solutions to complex technical problems in a variety of industries
- Assist engineers and sales team as they create, modify, and propose products and processes
- Assist customers in training and technical support
- Assist in product design, development, and production
- Build and set up equipment
- Program and help oversee build of CNC wire forming machines and robotic equipment
- Can utilize computer-aided design and drafting equipment during design phase or to verify designs
- Test and manufacture electrical and electronic equipment such as electrical panels, multi wire cable assemblies, and computers
- Manufacture and test electronic and computer-controlled mechanical systems
- Develop methods used in the prevention, control, or remediation of environmental hazards
- Program robotic systems
- Up to 30% travel
Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in automated mechanical systems or automated electronics systems. Automotive experience also considered
- CNC experience is a plus
Education
- Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering or hands on experience in building and troubleshooting automated machinery
CNC Machininst / Programmer 1st Shift
You’ll be part of the hands-on crew that keeps production moving—working on machines, collaborating with teammates, and making sure every finished part lives up to our quality expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Program and set up CNC machines for High-Mix, Low-Volume runs and monitor quality during operation
- Load raw materials and components into CNC machines with care and attention to detail
- Make adjustments as needed to keep parts within spec and maintain consistent quality
- Operate manual machines such as mills, lathes, surface grinders, and bandsaws to machine precision parts
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve part designs and optimize manufacturability
- Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure they meet blueprint requirements
- Perform daily machine checks and maintenance to keep machines running smoothly
- Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
- Skilled in programming and setting up CNC machinery, tooling, and precision measurement instruments
- Comfortable reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and documentation, including GD&T
- Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills
- CAM programming: 5 years (Preferred)
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or diploma in a related field is a plus
